The Home Theater Cruise in October 2005 was good fun at the casino.
Hanging out with the META guys was a rare opportunity.

Gambling with Ed Cherney, Al Schmitt, and Elliot Scheiner: PRICELESS

Being on a cruise ship is akin to being stuck at a Denny's or Red Lobster for a week. Except there's a casino. So I got up $3400 in two days and just played for free all week on the ship's money to relieve boredom. It is no wonder the French Monk who invented Roulette hung himself. Roulette is a maddeningly random game!

The only other good thing was hanging out with our industry's best recording engineers.

A BIG thanks to Bob Ludwig for inviting me to the Grammys!

HE2005: April 28 - May 1, 2005
at the NYC Hilton
we again teamed up with
Joseph Audio
and Cardas Audio

We did a special 3 channel demo featuring the Manley Ghidorah
the 3-headed preamp!

We played those wonderful new SACD re-releases of the 3-channel RCA and Mercury recordings from the late '50's, originally recorded with 3 tracks.

We scored a great award from Dave Glackin in Positive Feedback!

  • CES 2004 in Vegas, baby! It was nice to see those of you who came to enjoy some coffee, beer, and munchies and hear some hifi with us at the Alexis Park Hotel January 8-11, 2004.
    Full report here.

Pictured:

Gamma, Humberto, Paul, Baltazar, and EveAnna, with broken wrist, pre-surgery, all doped up on Vicodins....

EveAnna all dressed up at the Stereophile Home Entertainment show in the summer of 1999 showing off her photography and a pair of KT90 equipped gold 120 Watt Monoblocks.

We were still partnering up with Tannoy in the late 1990's. Those are the Manley Reference 240's driving the Tannoy Westminsters. EveAnna still has those speakers in her house and she enjoys them very much thank you!

We can never forget J-CON from AES 1997.

Howard Jalaikakik shows off J-CON literature.
I am sure it is very collectible today.

George Massenburg gave the keynote speech that year. What an important trade show that was!
