May 2008. Endless tradeshows!

The month of decadence started out with Erica from Universal Audio who came to visit so we
could play the Mix Magazine golf tourney but first we taught her how to ride a motorcycle.

Maybe Erica caused the month of decadence!

Next jump to......

AES Amsterdam 2008: Manley Labs exhibited at the RAI once again.
We debuted the new Manley BACKBONE mastering insert switcher to the European community.

Afterwards Ms. Vanimal went to Paris to hang out with our importer JB from Jukebox.

Too bad the food was so horrible. I wouldn't eat it either, Herve! haha hahahaha.....

And on another night... with Jeff and JB. I could have just starved to death!

yeah sure

After flying back to California for one day to do laundry and hug my dog, off Chris and I jetted off to exciting Ft. Wayne Indiana, home of the amazing new Sweetwater Sound facility.

There we exhibited at GearFest and hung out with our pro audio buddies and saw Tower of Power perform.

There of course was a party before TOP went on. Here we are taking a break from all the booze and food for just a second to have our picture taken, me, Wes Dooley, Chris Dauray, and Erica McDaniel.

After 8 hours in the exciting Ft. Wayne airport, they finally allowed us to fly to Atlanta so I could visit with my high school pals, such as David Broyles pictured here in Instant Rockstar Glasses, backstage at the Four Seasons Chef's Table.

Chris and Mayu enjoying dinner!

It was incredible! Thanks to you both!

Butchie and Linda enjoying some nice white wine at Helen's house.

Surprise!

Armed with dB's Instant Rockstar Glasses,
I sent my folks back at the factory an iPhone pic poke to tell them to "GET BACK TO WORK."

They sent me a reply, "MAKE US."

So when I got to New Orleans I also had to find myself some Instant Rockstar Glasses. And for a mere $17, I did. Here is George posing in them.

New Orleans was totally fun. GREAT food to be had. All styles, not just Cajun. I had some amazing fois gras and duck one night. Fried Rabbit another night. Couldn't find a restaurant serving nutria though...

And there is Debbie Daking being an Instant Rock Star.

SCIA had a meeting.

The PotLuckCon featured a working on-the-fly recording studio set up in one of the hotel halls.

Everybody brings something to the table.

I always consider it a successful tradeshow when we have tagged GML crew with TUBES RULE stickers.

TUBES RULE, George! Just ask Fab.

Bonus points to Josh for sticker placement!

That PotLuckCon was the most fun show I have ever been to. I'll be back next year for sure!
