New for 2008 we present to you a mastering engineer's dream, the MANLEY BACKBONE mastering insert switcher. This unit is the centerpiece of a mastering system allowing precise control and manipulation of up to eight pieces of outboard gear.

A little history: we have been building custom mastering consoles for many many years, since the early 1990's. You can view some of these custom creations on our Custom Mastering Console Page. But as we know, custom design work is both expensive and time consuming so we drew upon our experience to create a new stock production Mastering Insert Processor, the Manley BACKBONE.

Question: When is this new unit coming out?

Answer: The first ten units are being built and tested NOW July 2008. Just hope your dealer already got one of these on order if you are in a rush. Otherwise the floodgates will open later this summer 2008.
